Charterhouse Ghana, organisers of the annual Ghana Music Awards, have announced a line -up of events for this year’s edition.
This was made known at a press conference this morning, February 9.
The festival, sponsored by telecom giant Vodafone, comprises an official launch on March 5, a nominees’ jam in Cape Coast on March 24, a music seminar at the Movënpick Hotel on 12th April, and the main event at the Accra International Conference Centre on April 14.
The main event will be followed by a celebration jam in Tema on April 28.
A total of 709 nominations were received for the scheme, about 72% which received online.
Singer Joe Mettle, currently holds the ultimate title of Artist of the Year, something widely believed to be snatched by dancehall singer Ebony, who was reported dead last night in an accident on the Sunyani – Kumasi road.
